Shreeji Maharaj, after becoming the Acharya of the Uddhav Sampradaya, generally wore simple white garments. Yet, out of love and respect, He would gracefully adorn whatever His devotees offered to Him.
When He renounced the world at the young age of eleven, He lived with extreme austerity — wearing only a kopin and deerskin, regardless of season. Later, upon initiation by Ramanand Swami, He began wearing a white loincloth, saffron gatariyu, and alfi.
Over time, devotees began offering beautiful garments and ornaments. During the Dhoraji Samaiya, a Mugat (crown) and rich attire were offered — marking the beginning of a tradition of devotional offerings.
The Vachnamrut gives vivid descriptions of Shreeji Maharaj’s attire — from red brocade garments and saffron turbans to simple white khes and chadar. Each attire reflected both simplicity and divine grace.
Despite occasionally wearing rich garments, Shreeji Maharaj’s nature was rooted in vairagya (detachment). He preferred plain white clothing and rarely wore luxurious fabrics unless offered with deep devotion.
In colder seasons, He wore warm garments like dagli and layered clothing, showing practical simplicity in His lifestyle.
Many touching incidents highlight His generosity. Devotees would prepare garments with immense love, and Shree Hari would often gift those very garments to others, valuing devotion over material worth.
The wardrobe of Shree Hari included garments like Angarkhu, Khes, Pagh, Shelu, Dhoti, Surval and many more — each carrying cultural and spiritual significance.
Ultimately, His attire reflected a deeper truth — true beauty lies not in clothing, but in devotion, simplicity, and divine connection.

શિવ-પાર્વતી – ભાણદેવજી શિવ-પાર્વતી -ભાણદેવજી મહારાજ મનુએ પોતાની એક પુત્રી પ્રસૂતિનાં લગ્ન બ્રહ્માની પુત્ર દક્ષ પ્રજાપતિ સાથે કર્યા. દક્ષ પ્રજાપતિને પ્રસૂતિથી સોળ કન્યાઓ જન્મી. આ સોળમાંનાં એક ‘સતી’નાં લગ્ન તેમણે ભગવાન શંકર સાથે કર્યા. એકવાર સર્વ પ્રજાપતિઓએ સાથે મળીને એક મહાન યજ્ઞનું આયોજન કર્યું. આ મહાન યજ્ઞમાં ઋષિઓ, મુનિઓ, દેવો

એકાંત અને એકલતા -શ્રી ભાણદેવજી હિમાલયની યાત્રાએ અનેકવાર જવાનું બને છે. હિમાલયનાં દૂરદૂરનાં સ્થાનો, ગહન એકાંત સ્થાનોમાં જવાનું પણ બને છે અને સૌથી વિશેષ તો હિમાલયની ગુફાઓમાં જવાનું પણ બને છે. હિમાલયમાં કેટલી ગુફાઓ છે ? એક હજાર ? ના, તેથી વધારે ! બે હજાર? ના, તેથી પણ વધારે !
